Looking For Long Term Success In Home Business?

Many of us want long-term success in our home businesses. I believe you are looking to have a rock solid business that will generate income for a long time.

The secret to home businesses that generate income over and over again is adding value to your client.
Acquiring a client is WAY MORE expensive than retaining a client. You see you got to invest a lot of money to bring a lead to your list. You may say, "Not really, I generate all my leads through social media". Yes, I can see where you are coming from but what about the time you spend on updating and connecting with your prospects? Do you see that time is money? How much is your time worth?

Anyway the point I am trying to make is irrespective of the method acquiring a client or a lead is the most expensive part of selling.


Once you get them to your list then it will only take a few minutes for you to send an email to monetize that list.

The problem is most entrepreneurs forget their subscribers once they get on to the list and don't communicate with them.

The reasons why most small business owners don't communicate with their list;

Don't believe they have worthwhile information to share.Scared to email their list thinking that the subscribers get annoyed and un-subscribe from the list.Scared of selling.Don't know how to package their information.Technically challenged.Just being lazy.

To be honest I had all the challenges mentioned above, but believe me you can overcome them easily than you ever imagined.

Lets look at each one of these challenges and ways to overcome them;

1. Do not believe you have worthwhile information to share:

The minute you know something or figure out how to do something you think that everyone else know it. You forget that once upon a time you didn't know this particular information and you were thinking if there is any help out there at all.

All you need to do is go back to where you were before you learn this special skill and realize that there are so many people out there just like you were. So, all you need to do is share that skill you just learned and that will be a hell of a lot worth to a person who is looking for that kind of information.

This can be a bit overwhelming for some of you because there are so much information out there and so many gurus selling all kind of shinny stuff. Believe me there will always be an audience that are looking for what you have and relate to YOU more than anyone else online.

2. Scared of people un-subscribing from your list -

Are you nervous to email your subscribers thinking that they will un-subscribe from your list? Every time you send out a broadcast you bound to get a certain percentage of people opting out of your list. You should not take these personally, because they have their personal reasons for doing so, and it could be nothing to do with you. Sometime it is better that some people get out of your list; you know some people get into your list to sell their stuff to you.

Another thing that could happen is if you don't send messages frequently people forget you, & when they see your name they cannot remember you, so they may delete your email or worst report spam.
So, take my word and communicate with your prospects often.

You may ask how often? I suggest once a day and may be once in a while twice a day.

3. Scared of selling

You don't have to be scared of selling if you continue to provide value to your clients. Also remember you will not be selling to your list all the time, and mostly you will be providing valuable information for free. You can also give show them any other products and services your clients appreciate from other entrepreneurs in the same niche. When you do this kind of thing they know that you are not always go out there and ask them to buy your stuff. This way they will put an enormous amount of trust in you and the products you sell. If you are not already it is important that you learn to get comfortable in selling.

4. Don't know how to deliver your content to your subscribers and clients?

With all the online sites out there it is very easy to package your information. This is so easy with the latest technology. You can do a video, blog post, note on your face book page, twitter update...etc.
When you do a video, you can post it to your blog and then broadcast your blog to your subscriber list and at the same time you can post that link to your face book page.

5. Technically challenged?

There are a couple of options you have here. You can become a student of technology and learn what you need to overcome the challenges you have. All you need to do it to go to Google and search for an answer. I can guarantee you there are instructions, user guides, forums, how to videos on every single thing that you want mostly for free. Only thing is you have to invest some time and energy studying and doing it.

The other option is outsource. This is easy and smart way to do business because then you can focus your time and energy on income generating activities.

6. Just being LAZY

What can I say other than ask you to JUST DO IT. We all get lazy sometime, but the questions are;
- Why did you start this in the first place?
- Are you really hungry for success?
- Do you have a vision?
- Are you passionate about what you are doing?

Take time to go over these questions and you'll realize that something is missing. Work on that, because you being lazy will not serve anyone, you or your client
