Twitter Tips and Tricks : Cleaning Your Twitter Account

After you follow bunch of people to gain followers fast (read my article about Twitter Tips and Tricks : Free 100-1000 followers per day!), this time is for cleaning those who not worth enough to follow. For me, those who not following me back and those who doesn't have tweet in past 90 day is not worth to follow, because they wouldn't see what we said/tweet. I mean, whats the point following people who is not willing to hear me? Of course there's exception, people like a celebrities or someone who famous, they worth enough to follow, even they didn't follow back.

Now, back to cleaning your twitter account from people who not worth enough to follow, there's free tools which offers you to unfollow those "not worth to follow" account.

The first one is Tweepi.com. Tweepi offers you to "Flush" or unfollow those people who's not following you back. And if you want to flush people, I suggest you start from the last page in "Flush page". Because the last page is the list of people who just unfollow you or the longest time that account is not following you back.

The second one is ManageFlitter.com. ManageFlitter offers you to unfollow "Inactive" people, but they consider that people are inactive only if they doesnt have tweet in past 1 month. So, if you wanna to unfollow people who doesnt have tweet in last 3 month, you should select carefully.

The third one is Formulists.com. What you should have to do is make a list of inactive people. This is how to make one :
1. After login, click on "Lists or Follower Sets They're Already In" then click on "Add" at "Mash, Merge or Filter Existing Lists or Follower Sets"
2.  Fill "List name" eg. "Inactive Account", then set "Privacy" (choose Private or Public)
3. At "Build Your List" there's drop down menu beside "Add people from this list" then choose "Select from your list". After you choose it, there's pop up menu show, then choose "@(yournamehere) followers" then click "Ok" And below that, there's another drop down menu, just click on negative ( - ) sign to remove another "Add people from this list"
4. Now go to "Basic Options" and fill the "Descriptions" eg. "Inactive account that I'll unfollow" or you can leave it.
5. Then go to "Profile Filter Options" choose "Filter by when they last tweeted" and at "Minimum Last Tweet Age Filter" choose "Should not have tweeted within the last ....  days" and put 90 or 30 or any day you wish in that blank space.
6. After you setup all those, click on "Create List". Now you have list of inactive followers. Just wait few minutes, then your list will be filled automatically. After that, just mark all people (just mark one time, the one left side "Follow" button) then click "unfollow", it will mass unfollow people, 20 people in just 1 click.

And just for your information, by cleaning your "inactive" followers, your following-followers ratio will more then 100% (you have more followers then following account), and this will make you look like famous.. ;p
